T3 – Tenant Application for a Rent Reduction

The T3 form is used by tenants to request a rent reduction. This can occur for the following reasons:

  • The landlord has stopped or reduced services or facilities previously provided.
  • The landlord has reduced property taxes or utility costs.

How to Complete the T3 Form

  1. Enter Tenant and Landlord Information

    • Tenant’s name and contact information.
    • Landlord’s name and the address of the rental property.
  2. Describe the Reason for Rent Reduction Request
    Clearly explain the reason for requesting the rent reduction, such as service interruptions, reduced facilities, or a decrease in property taxes.

  3. Prepare Supporting Evidence
